Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you or your colleagues to submit a paper to the ?Workshop on Video Quality Driven Multimedia Streaming in Mobile Wireless Networks (QoSTREAM)? that will be held in conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), June 9-13 2013, in Budapest, Hungary.
ICC is one of the two flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society. Each year the ICC conference attracts 2000+ submitted scientific papers, a technical program committee involving about 1500 experts provides more than 10000 reviews, the conference being finally attended by 1500 ? 2000 professionals from all around the world. IEEE ICC is therefore one of the most significant scientific events of the networking and communications community, a must-attend forum for both industrials and academics working in this area.
The QoSTREAM workshop provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and collaborate, to researchers dealing with end-to-end quality- and content-aware multimedia delivery over wireless networks. It is intended to provide an annual meeting point for researchers working in the domain of Quality-of-Experience (QoE)-aware multimedia communications over next-generation wireless networks. We solicit both paper and demos relevant to these topics. Selected papers from the workshop will be published in a special issue of Springer ?Multimedia Tools and Applications? journal. In the past IEEE workshop papers were included in the conference proceedings and published on IEEEXplore.
Important dates for the workshop are as below:
* Paper deadline: September 16th, 2012
* Notification of acceptance: January 27, 2013
* Camera ready deadline: February 24, 2013
